3 Themes We’re Loving for Children's Christmas Parties
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of children’s Christmas parties? Probably, some decorations involving Santa, green garland and maybe some candy canes, right?!
While we do love and appreciate a classic Christmas themed party, we also want to challenge you to break away from the norm and have FUN with the theme. One of the best parts of planning a children’s Christmas party is the ability to let your imagination run while.
Today we’ll take you through three unique children’s Christmas party themes. Make sure you save this post for inspiration in the future. With these themes, your little ones will have lasting memories and your guests will be blown away!
Here are 3 Themes We’re Loving for Children’s Christmas Parties:
1. A Grinch Christmas Party
There is no better way to wish your guest a Merry Grinchmas than to throw a fun party inspired by the Grinch. We love this theme because whether you snuggle up and read this Christmas classic or have a family movie night, everyone will be familiar with this theme!

How fun is it that they chose to forgo a classic Santa and hired a Grinch Santa instead?! Our children’s table and children’s white wishbone chairs paired perfectly with this whimsical tablescape.
One thing about us, we think that a bounce house is ALWAYS a good idea. This modern white bounce house with a colorful balloon arch?! Perfection!
2. A Festive Gingerbread House Party
Do you have kids that love arts and crafts?! If so, this theme is made for your little artists! Here’s our pro-tip: hot glue the gingerbread houses together before the party so that your guests can focus on decorating.

The party pictured above (styled and photographed by @channn.miller) was a little girl’s dream with all of the shades of pink and gold. Our children’s chairs, table, and linens are featured here.
3. A Whimsical Nutcracker Party
This theme is so much fun to work with because you really can run wild with it!

This party was featured on Catch My Party blog and we are absolutely obsessed! After you finish reading this post, make sure to head over there to get more inspiration!
To put the decor together, everything from the decorations to the paper goods can be different shades of pastels and metallics. One of our favorite tips for children’s parties is to have a fun craft for all of the kids to do together.
Our Children’s Party Package is a great place to start for any of these themes. If you need help putting together your next children’s Christmas party, we would love to help!
