Little details that grasp attention!
Are you hosting for the holidays? With just a little bit of strategizing, you can pull off a holiday gathering without a hitch. We’re going to break down three little details to grasp attention and help you pull off the holiday with ease.
A welcoming entrance, candles, fresh flowers on the table, and stocking the bathroom are three of the simplest ways to grasp your guests’ attention.
1. Create a welcoming entrance
It’s important that the entry to your house is welcoming to guests. We recommend a small dresser or console table with some wall hooks nearby to provide a place for purses, keys, and jackets to land.
2. Candles and fresh flowers on the table
One of our favorite parts of hosting a holiday dinner is being able to decorate the tables. Elevate your tablescape and place settings by adding special details such as glowing candles and beautiful fresh floral centerpieces. We love to keep the candles simple – grab a pack of off white candles from your local craft store like Hobby Lobby or Micheals. You can pick up fresh seasonal flowers from the grocery store the day before your event.
3. Stock each bathroom
Another way to grasp your guests’ attention is so stock the bathrooms. We recommend paper hand towels stored in a decorative dish instead of a cloth hand towel. It’s also important to have extra toilet paper, a waste bin, and room spray where guests can easily access it. Additionally, you can also bring in a candle and a small floral arrangement from the tablescape to help establish a cohesive environment.
We can’t believe the 2022 holiday season is already here. Whether it’s your first time hosting family or friends or you’re a seasoned pro, we hope you have a wonderful time creating memories with those you love!
