The custom fabrication process begins with an initial inquiry, where the client shares ideas and inspiration such as reference images, sketches, brand guidelines, or general concepts. Our team then schedules a discovery call to discuss the project vision, functionality, timeline, and overall scope. Following the call, Party Bound prepares and sends a detailed proposal outlining the custom fabrication scope, pricing, and production timeline.

If a mockup is requested prior to signing, a Design Deposit is required and will be applied as a credit toward the final project total. Mockups are provided before the client signs the final quote, allowing clients to review and align on the design direction before moving into production.

Mockups are intended to communicate overall design intent, scale, and aesthetic rather than serve as construction drawings. Each concept mockup includes up to 3 rounds of revisions, with pricing starting at $100, depending on complexity.

We request an 8–12 week lead time for all custom fabrication projects. Requests made within 4 weeks of the event date are subject to a rush fee. To ensure timely production and installation, all final paint colors, finishes, artwork, and branding files must be approved and submitted no later than 2 weeks prior to delivery.

Because custom pieces are designed for real-world spaces, Party Bound may make minor adjustments to dimensions or proportions during fabrication to ensure structural integrity, proper scale, and successful installation onsite.

Semi-custom projects begin with selecting an existing Party Bound inventory piece to be customized. Clients may provide inspiration, brand guidelines, or artwork, or work within Party Bound’s approved customization options. If client-provided designs are being used, all necessary files and specifications must be submitted no later than 4 weeks prior to delivery.

Before production begins, Party Bound provides a concept mockup showing the proposed customization applied to the selected inventory piece for client approval.

Mockups for semi-customization are provided as concept mockups, intended to show overall placement, scale, and visual application of colors or graphics on existing inventory. Mockups are provided for approval prior to production and reflect the final design direction using the selected inventory item.

We request a 6 week lead time for all semi-customization projects. Requests made within 2 weeks of the event date are subject to a rush fee.

For projects involving vinyl, fabric, or applied graphics, all final artwork and files must be submitted no later than 4 weeks prior to delivery to avoid delays.

Clients may select from Party Bound’s approved color options for semi-custom pieces. A $200 color-matching fee applies for custom color matching. When necessary, Party Bound will source a comparable formula from an alternate paint brand to achieve the closest possible match.

Upholstery projects are coordinated in collaboration with Party Bound’s vendor partners to ensure quality, durability, and consistency across all customized pieces. Available upholstery options may include custom slipcovers, cushions, pillows, umbrellas, and awnings, depending on the inventory item selected.

Only inventory items designated with an Upholstery tag are eligible for customization.

Upholstery customization may include fabric changes, pattern selections, or tailored finishes designed to align with your event’s aesthetic. All options are subject to material availability and vendor timelines. Final selections must be approved prior to production to ensure timely delivery.

We prefer a 12-week lead time for upholstery projects. Requests made within 8 weeks of the event date are subject to a rush fee, pending vendor availability.

Upholstery selections are sourced through Party Bound’s preferred vendor partners, allowing us to tailor each piece to the desired aesthetic while maintaining professional-grade materials and finishes. This approach ensures every upholstered element feels intentional, elevated, and event-ready.
